MULTIVERSO LISTENING WORKSHOP

We're gathering for spaciousness, joyous attunement and dialogue by integrating creative practice and life experience, on and off the stage. The celebration is for all life-modalities, listening to the multiverses within and without.

Join guitarist, composer, and Earshot Jazz Festival commissioned artist Carlos Snaider @carlosregardless for an interactive creativity and listening workshop the day of his new band Multiverso's premier and festival performance. Active with the bands Eléré and EarthtoneSkytone in recent years and now presenting Multiverso, Carlos has worked to integrate a creative process/philosophy of life and music that he carries out through concrete tools for joy and alertness in the day-to-day and that informs his musical process.  This workshop will explore embodied movement related to the Multiverso music experience, engaged listening, guided meditation and theatre protocols from his studies of Ay Ombe Performance Autology, a creative theatre performance system. There may also be time to explore some Multiverso scores, which are accessible to musicians and non-musicians alike. No musical background required, all ages welcome.
