MULTIVERSO LISTENING WORKSHOP

Presented in collaboration with Blue Cone Studios and Ay Ombe Theatre 

“Since in order to speak, one must first listen, learn to speak by listening.” – Rumi

Join guitarist, multi-instrumentalist, composer, and Ay Ombe Theatre co-creator Carlos Snaider for an interactive creativity workshop on the topics of listening, sound and silence. Through his collaborative leadership with bands Eléré,  EarthtoneSkytone and his new experimental latin band Multiverso, as well as a personal devotional process, Carlos has integrated a creative philosophy of life and music with listening to inner and outer environments at it's core.

Over the course of two hours participants will explore listening exercises, physical prayers (movements to achieve silence in the body), music exploration, and the creation of one's own "song" using the rhythm sources within the Multiverso songbook. This is a unique opportunity to dialogue with an independent artist on the cultivation of creativity/vitality from sources available to us at any time.
